#1 – Beanie Boo Christmas Story: Dear Santa

Dear Santa Claus,

It’s Chill. I’m a 9-year old penguin from the South Pole.

Here I am with my Dad.

We live on the other side of the world from you.

In fact, I don’t think there is anything farther from your workshop at the North Pole than our home in Antarctica (that’s another name for the South Pole).

That got me wondering – is that why you don’t visit us on Christmas Eve?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of waking up on Christmas morning to a present, or two, or three from you.

My dad says it’s always been this way. He said it’s too cold here, too far and that maybe you just don’t like penguins.

Whatever the reason, I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, this year you could add Antarctica to your list of stops on Christmas Eve.

You would make a lot of young penguins happy, especially me.

Oh, and here’s my Christmas Wish List:

  1. A new sled
  2. Swedish fish (I read about these online and they sounded very interesting)
  3. Lego sets

Dreaming of you,

Chill Penguin

I hope Chili’s wish comes true. That’s so sad to go without presents from Santa. Maybe it’s too hard for mail to get from Antarctica in time every year? Or perhaps the international treaty regarding Antarctica has a no fly clause for reindeer in it or something? If things don’t work out again this year, maybe Chill can come visit my family during Christmas next year. We’re definitely within Santa’s service/delivery area. Anyway, good luck, Chill!
